Your first Starbeast
is right above you.
StarHunter is an AR hunting game. Scan the sky around you, summon a Starbeast that exists only in your patch of sky, break it, take its materials — then forge.
The Loop · four steps, one cycle
Detect, summon, break, forge
Every cycle starts by looking up. These four steps are the game's only main rhythm, and the order can't be skipped.
Calibrate your detector
Trace a figure-8 to calibrate the magnetometer, sweep the sky overhead, and find the strongest signal.
Pull it into the world
Summon once the signal is strong enough. The Starbeast that appears is bound to the sky you're standing under.
Find the tell, break the armor
Auto-attack carries the baseline; tap the moment a tell opens. Armor, break, stun — a three-beat cycle.
Turn materials into gear
Nine slots, rolled affixes. Gear comes only from forging; materials only from combat.
Starcore Forging
Materials can't be bought. Only fought for.
Stardust, meteoric iron, and starcores drop from combat only — the shop doesn't sell them. Forging is where time becomes gear: nine slots, rolled affixes, every piece earned.
